Student assessment

Assessment is anything that counts toward your final mark.

Inward bound assessment

All assessment submitted via WATTLE or handed in as hardcopy MUST have an assessment cover sheet attached to them.

Ensure you sign the cover sheet and include your student number.

Please note any assessment submitted via Turnitin MUST NOT HAVE AN ASSESSMENT COVER SHEET ATTACHED.

Should you need to return assessment for the lecturer, you may do this through the essay chute next to the Services Office counter.

Outward bound assessment

Assessment available from the Services Office may include class presentation feedback or class participation feedback as well as Assignments Essays, Exams, Take Home Exams and Group Exercises. Note that some assessment may have to be returned, this will be marked on the Assessment available for collection lists found below and can be returned through the essay chute next to our counter.

ANU College of Law Policy on disposal of old assessment/exams - These will be kept for 6 months from the end of that particular semester, then confidentially disposed of.

Assignments available for collection 

Once marked and returned to the Services Office by the lecturer, an assignment may be collected from the Services Office with a student ID card. A valid student card is required for the collection of all assessment.

For some courses, assessment will need to be returned for moderation. To return assessment, place it in the essay chute for the Services Office staff.
